During the locker room interview, Jerry Jones had words for the press that was a scathing reply to all the Cowboys’ haters that had counted out the team’s chances for the Super Bowl.
The proud manager, Jerry Jones
The Dallas Cowboys are having an interesting season. Led by their general manager, Jerry Jones, the Cowboys had incurred their third loss against the Packers a few days ago. The mood in the locker room was quite different then. Jerry Jones did not mince his words when the Cowboys lost in overtime. He angrily spoke about the team not being able to show up and perform after their 2 weeks of rest. He was brutally honest and said, “We’re rested, had 2 weeks off. Everybody was ready to go. Just couldn’t get it done. It’s very frustrating. We’re healthy. We got our guys out there.”
However, after the win against the Minnesota Vikings, the owner had nothing bad to stay. The Cowboys absolutely dominated the field, with a final score of 40-3. The win was not only a statement, but it was also the Cowboys’ successful attempt to cement themselves as championship contenders and Jones made that clear.

When asked if he thought that the Cowboys were a contender, he made his response very clear and said, “A resounding yes. Yes. Unequivocally yes.” The owner of the Cowboys showcased his full confidence in his team and even applauded their efforts in the locker room interview.
