The Dallas Cowboys have made the playoffs being the 5th seed. However, the Jerry Jones-managed organization seems like it might be hanging on by a thread. The Cowboys have a respectable record of 12-5, coming in second only to the Eagles. However, Dak Prescott’s records do not seem to match the teams’ success.

The quarterback has had better seasons than this one. The number he has been putting up would be decent for any other QB but the Cowboys’ expected more from him. Recently, a tweet went viral, talking about the QB’s stats going into the playoffs and it caused an uproar among the fans.

Prescott is going into the playoffs with seven straight games wherein he has been intercepted at least once. He is now second only to another Cowboys QB who had nine straight interceptions in nine games. After such a terrible stat was brought up, fans had brutal responses to the tweet. A fan commented on how the QB should give away his salary to his teammates.

Another fan went on to say that Prescott should be traded.

Furthermore, there were sarcastic questions about the QB’s sobriety.

However, some fans pointed out the supposed subpar quality of other players on the team.

Subsequently, a fan went very far with his assessment of the way Prescott played.

There were comments about how the salary he is being paid might be going to waste.

Lastly, some comments mocked Jerry Jones and the amount of money he paid the QB.

Even though fans seem to think that Jerry Jones might have overpaid for the quarterback, he has maintained a pro-Prescott position throughout the season. It is quite admirable that Jones has been so gracious in his thoughts of the QB, even after embarrassing losses.

Is Jerry Jones Prescott’s knight in shining armor?

Jones has had an increasingly positive opinion of Prescott this season. Even after some truly embarrassing losses, the GM does not seem to have anything bad to say about his QB. The most shocking incident was when the Cowboys lost to the Jaguars with an embarrassing interception.

While the Cowboys are playoffs bound, Prescott’s performance has been worrying, to say the least. It is wonderful to see that Jones has so much confidence in Prescott. It only remains to be seen when this unfaltering confidence in Prescott will disappear.
