Jerry Jones is probably among the most powerful men in the United States. The Dallas Cowboys’ owner is a prolific business, but one person has the upper hand over him while making decisions. It is his daughter, Charlotte Jones Anderson. She is one of the most influential women in the NFL. And to everyone’s surprise, she does not let her father use Twitter.
Charlotte believes that she has had enough experiences on social media that makes her a better judge. Moreover, it can devastate someone’s reputation, let alone attack someone’s personal life. So she plans to keep her father and brother, Stephen Jones, away from the social media glam and attention.

While Charlotte uses Twitter, she does not allow others to be on it. She reveals that she signed up to monitor her kid’s activities on social media. But the idea of her father having an account of his own is frightening for her. She had some thoughts to share about her perception of social media.
Talking about social media, she remarked, “Shocked first then scared second. It’s amazing to me the things that people want to share with people, and the people that think what they share is actually interesting. That a whole other conversation.”
What did she say about not allowing Jerry Jones on Twitter, and how is Charlotte Jones Anderson transforming the Dallas Cowboys?
Speaking to the Dallas Morning News, Charlotte clarifies why Jerry Jones is not on Twitter. She said, “Well the others are not on it because I do not trust them to be on it. I am in charge of the brand so I’ve gotta have just a mild bit of control. So it’s a good thing they don’t know how to do it so that I don’t have to worry about what I’m going to wake up to unlike the others that frequent our locker room.”

Being in charge of the brand does give her a bit of control. She is the Chief Brand Officer and Executive VP of the Dallas Cowboys. Over the years, she has been accredited as the decision-maker, boosting the brand image of her team. Additionally, she was the chief architect of bringing the Super Bowl XLV to North Texas in 2011 for the first time.
Nevertheless, Charlotte does not fail to show how she is genuinely one of the most influential women in the NFL. Further, she is improving the team’s brand value and taking Jerry’s vision forward like a true boss.
