Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos leads the race since the billionaire owns the Washington Post. Also, Amazon Prime Video owns the broadcasting rights for Thursday Night Football in the NFL.
Bezos also owns a house near the Maryland home base of the Washington Commanders. Jay-Z’s Roc Nation also signed a 10-year contract with the NFL for their Super Bowl half-time entertainment as a part of the NFL’s Inspire Change initiative.
The Amazon and hip-hop billionaires were spotted sharing a secret dinner at Horses in Los Angeles. This has enhanced the takeover speculations even further. Both have expressed their interest in buying the Commanders in the recent past and this seemed to be a partnership dinner in the late hours of Sunset Boulevard.
