NFL GOAT Tom Brady has set himself as an example in the sports world. His personality as a footballer and a player in the NFL sets him apart from the rest. Apart from the 7 Super Bowl titles he has won in his career, people consider him an inspiration for the way he has been at the top of his physical performance, even during his 40s. The QB was the oldest serving QB in the NFL last season at the age of 45 before he decided to retire for good after the end of last season. 

And his motivational flare has been helping athletes in other sports as well, as the ex-World No.1 of Golf recently opened up about how Brady served as a guiding light in difficult times.

 Recently, during an interview with Adam Pengilly for The Age, Day talks about how Tom Brady serves as an inspiration for a lot of players in different fields of sports. For Brady to compete in the big leagues, even at the age of 45, is a remarkable feat according to the pro-golfer. It has been a difficult time for the former world no.1 recently. Just a few months back, fans could not even find his name in the world rankings after dropping out of the top 150. But Day is climbing back, ranking 35th at the moment. And he credits most of this motivation to TB12’s ideologies and career.

Day said, “Obviously, I got a little inspiration from Tom Brady, a guy that was an inspiration to a lot of people, but for him to be that old-not saying that he’s old- but for him to be at that young age of 45 and be competitive in the NFL, it’s remarkable.” He further said, “It’s a true testament to his ability.”

Jason Day has been dealing with back injuries for the past few years. Last year, he even failed to qualify for the Masters for the first time in more than a decade. But he will be looking back to bounce back in his career, following the mantra of success that Tom Brady preaches in his own life.

Brady recently invested in part ownership of the WNBA team the Las Vegas Aces. He wishes to improve the quality of the game in women’s basketball with his investment. He even became a part of the HERTZ-sponsored JOTA sports car team, partaking in motor racing as well. Even after retirement, it does not look like the NFL GOAT wants to be away from the sporting world.

While Jason Day channelizes his inner Brady for his resurgence, TB12 will remain a source of inspiration in the field of sports for years to come.
