The Super Bowl LVII between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will be a match that will echo for a long time in the NFL world. It is because brothers Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce played against each other on the most important day in the NFL. As both, the brothers battled it out with their heads held high on the field, Travis along with his team the Chiefs came out on top against the Eagles, and his elder brother.

Their mother had cheered on both her sons during the Super Bowl match, as she loves both of them equally. Her appearance during the matchup earned her a special place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Mama Kelce becomes a Hall of Famer post-Super Bowl

According to an article by Celeste Houmard for FOX 8, Mama Kelce, the mother of two NFL stars in the league, has solidified her very own place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The mother of the Kelce brothers was at the Super Bowl finals, cheering on for both of her sons’ big day. What caught the attention of the NFL world was the outfit she had worn on an auspicious day for the Kelce household.

Donna Kelce turned heads during the Super Bowl final with her outfit for the night. She wore a jersey and shoes, which represented and had both the finalists, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Philadelphia Eagles. The jersey which Mama Kelce wore had Travis’s number 87 red color on the front, and his elder brother Jason’s number 62 green color on the back. Apart from this, even both her shoes represented both the teams and the brothers. One pair had 87 on it with the Chiefs written, while the other had 62 on it with Eagles written on the strap.

The Super Bowl LVII or the ‘Kelce Bowl’ will forever be as the night of a battle between two elite teams. Despite losing to Travis, big brother Jason showed his love for his family, as he was happy for his younger brother’s success, despite being sad about his own loss.

Travis Kelce is on his way to being one of the greats

With the historic win, Chiefs TE Travis Kelce further solidifies his position as one of the greatest TEs of all time. Completing his seventh consecutive 1,000-yard season recently, he is already ahead of Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe on the career yards list by a tight end. Travis has a total of 10,344 yards, placing him fourth in the all-time rankings. The only people who are ahead of the 33-year-old in the TE position are Antonio Gates, Jason Witten, and Tony Gonzalez. 

Both brothers have the potential to make it into the Hall of Fame in the future. But at the moment, the family will celebrate the achievement by Mama Kelce, as both brothers gear up for a new fresh season of the NFL.
