The Cincinnati Bengals have a big-time matchup ahead in Week 13. They have had some success in the past few games. But the Chiefs are in line to go against them. The game would be a must-see when the 2021-22 AFC Conference rivals lock horns. The Cin City has a good update on Joe Burrow’s favorite target, WR1 Ja’Marr Chase, ahead of the game.

After coming off as Super Bowl runner-ups, the Bengals did not have a fluid start in 2022-23. The franchise picked up the pace, and it appeared they could carry it all into the postseason. But they lost one of their key players to a hip injury. Ahead of a crucial game against Kansas City, the Bengals have their top wide receiver lined up for the Week 13 game.

 

As per Ari Meirov, Ja’Marr Chase made it known to the reporters that he would be on the field for the Week 13 game against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. With the confirmation of WR Chase’s attendance at Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday, the game has become much more intriguing.

In October, Ja’Marr Chase sustained a hip injury that sidelined him for a considerable amount of time. He was also subject to being placed on injured reserve. However, that did not take place. The WR took proper care of himself and saw a hip specialist for his injuries.

Patrick Mahomes may look to avenge the Chiefs’ loss to the Bengals in the AFC divisional playoffs when they competed for a Super Bowl berth. It would be the first time they had met since the AFC playoffs, and it would be a sight to see.

Ja’Marr Chase reveals why he missed out on the Bengals-Titans game

Ja’Marr Chase took ample care while he was off the field this season. Without him, the Bengals had a stable run with a few wins under their strap. When the Bengals faced the Titans, the WR was good to return to the game. However, he stayed inactive in the game and had a primary reason to do so.

Ja’Marr Chase stated he chose not to play against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday because he did not feel comfortable returning from the injury so soon.
