He took to his official Twitter account tweeting, “I can’t wait to tweet about our next move lol… LFG!” Ramsey will be happy with the Rams trading for players in their secondary and recruiting Troy Hill from the Cleveland Browns franchise.

The hunger for more defensive players seems never-ending for Ramsey, who was calling on Rams fans to attract free agent Tyrann Mathieu online.

The team will be looking to continue their winning formula of going all in, having brought them a lot of success last season. Rams GM Les Snead seems far from apologetic for his approach and might be considering recruiting the ‘Honey Badger.’ They have shown an ambition to evolve from last season by bringing in WR Allen Robinson II and Bobby Wagner to compensate for the loss of some key players.

Jalen Ramsey wants the Honey Badger in Los Angeles in 2022

According to the Athletic’s Jourdan Rodrigue, the Rams have not had optimistic conversations with the former Chiefs safety. While Mathieu will be more of a luxury signing than an immediate requirement, the opportunity for the franchise could be invaluable. The Honey Badger’s versatility across the defensive line and the Super Bowl championship on his resume is hard to ignore.

He is also coming off of another Pro Bowl season in 2021. He recorded 76 tackles, 3 interceptions, and 3 forced fumbles in the process. Ramsey will be extremely happy about the Rams providing defensive reinforcements this week. The recruitment of Mathieu will be the icing on the cake for the franchise.

Snead’s fearless recruitment history of high-profile stars for his Rams superteam will give hope to Mathieu.

While the trade doesn’t make much sense for the Rams organization, the fans will welcome Mathieu’s infectious energy on defense. The 2022 NFL campaign is nicely poised again for the franchise to either go big or go home.
