The NFL athletes are no guests to online critique. One such star player is the quarterback of the Baltimore Ravens, Lamar Jackson, who went through online scrutiny. However, the final first-round pick has a thick skin. And he teaches the same to his five-year-long girlfriend, who remains away from the public eye.

Since the Heisman Trophy winner is an upcoming star athlete in the league, he faces criticism on social media about his play. Although when he reads through them, it does not make him angry. In fact, he channels it in a more productive way.

In a rare interview in 2019, Jamie Taylor, Jackson’s girlfriend, talked to the Baltimore Ravens.”He’s taught me how to handle criticism,” Taylor said. “I mean, I used to get mad when I’d read stuff. Then I’d look at him, and he’s just fine. He says, ‘Let them do the talking. You don’t have to say anything. Just show them.'”

The pair have been dating each other since their college days, in 2017, at the University of Louisville. Not much is known about Lamar Jackson and his girlfriend as the couple likes to remain low-key. Therefore, one may not find any pictures of Jackson and Taylor together on his social media accounts.

The Baltimore Ravens performed poorly for a few weeks. At that time, the chatter around the NFL MVP-winning QB’s contract died down. However, they came back strongly against the Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After that, the Pro Bowl quarterback spoke about his contract.

Ravens won by a score of 27-22. Jackson completed 27 of his 38 passes for 238 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed nine more times for 43 yards.

When Jackson ran away from the field, he spotted a sign that read “Pay ‘Em Now.” A fan dropped it and the QB picked it up while making a statement of his own. He signed and returned the sign to the unidentified fan. And jumped up for a high-five.
