The clip was part of the latest episode of Barstool Sports and SMAC Productions’ Coach Prime. It follows his journey in Mississippi while coaching the players. The recording was seen by the players during a team meeting, with the Hall of Famer explaining how he did end up in the hospital.
The surgery that the former Cowboys CB was undergoing involves a procedure to repair a football-caused toe deformity.
While encouraging his players with a rallying cry and demanding more, he states, “Fellas, let’s go get it, let’s want it, let’s believe it, that it’s real and let’s go take advantage of the opportunity that we have. I will not be there today, but I guarantee you, God, as my witness … I’ll be back tomorrow.”

Sanders underlines that even though he wouldn’t be there physically, easing off is not an option. He addresses his fellow coaches to not allow expectations to drop and maintain the standards they have set in place. The series follows the former 2-time Super Bowl champion on his journey and mission to elevate the historically black communities and universities (HBCUs).
It seems like something that Sanders is very proud to be in association with. His excitement was clear for everyone to see during the press releases. He promises fans that he will provide behind-the-scenes access at their championship-level program. He was also hyping up the series and its episodes. It seems the project holds a lot of importance to Sanders.
