Days after Patrick Mahomes clinched a second Vince Lombardi trophy for the Chiefs, his brother Jackson put a dent in the celebration. The TikTok star was involved in an incident where he forcibly kissed Aspen Vaughn, an Overland Park restaurant owner.
“I’m telling him, pushing him off, saying, ‘What are you doing?’ Then he proceeded to do it two more times. The last time I was pushing him off, I can see on the cameras. Somebody was outside the office door. I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive,” Aspen Vaughn told in her statement.
Jackson Mahomes also allegedly shoved a waiting staff in the restaurant. This was because of an altercation in the reserved personnel area of the restaurant. According to the reports from TMZ, the server also smelled marijuana from the staff room that Jackson Mahomes and his entourage allegedly broke into.
Jackson was booked on Wednesday around 7:42 am and currently faces a release bond of $100,000.
How have Jackson and his family reacted to the allegations?
In February, Brandon Davies, Jackson’s attorney, said that his client had “done nothing wrong.” Davies also claimed to have discovered “substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser, including the statements of several witnesses” during the defense’s investigations. Jackson’s sister-in-law Brittany Mahomes also spoke out in his support. “Until you walk a day in his shoes (which no one ever will) you have no right to say s— about him,” she said.
