Micah Parsons isn’t one to shy away from saying as it sees it. Using Twitter as his primary platform of sorts, the Cowboys star can always be found commenting on the events that catch his interest. And this offseason, Parsons is bringing in the heat. As the NFL world looks forward to the draft and all the fresh faces that are hoping to find a spot in the league, Parsons did not hold back from making his thoughts known.

The offseason has ushered in a long-drawn football draught. Because of the lack of on-field action, the interest in draft proceedings is evident. Young stars are on their way to proving their value. However, Parsons’ comments on one particular draft hopeful aren’t encouraging to say the least. So, what did the Cowboys star say?

Lukas Van Ness is an interesting draft prospect who has been receiving attention for some of his physical traits. Strength and physicality are key aspects while scouting for a DE and Van Ness is certainly showing those signs given his size. At 6’5, the Iowa star is hoping to be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft. However, being on the receiving end of not-so-positive comments from one of the biggest defensive stars in the NFL may not have been on his agenda.

NFL Rookie Watch on Twitter posted a video of one of Van Ness’ drills, stating that the DE was “taking these bags out like they’re NOTHING.” 

Responding to the video and the hype, Micah Parsons said, 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂brooooo it’s bags😂😂 I’ve seen kids in middle school do this !! Media is a scary place.” If downplaying the level of difficulty of the drill wasn’t enough, Parsons added insult to injury with a string of laughing emoticons.
