With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers edging out a win against the New Orleans Saints, fans on both sides were treated to a recurring event from the same matchup last year. No, we’re not talking about the Saints’ formidable defense containing Tom Brady. We’re talking about perhaps the most talked-about moment of the game: Tom Brady hurling his tablet to the ground.

The incident is already being humored to great extents, with fans calling it “his best throw of the game”. On a night when his performance was abysmal. Thanks to the no-nonsense attitude from the Saints, defense, this could just be true. Managing just 18/34 for 190 yards, one wonders if the thought of losing to the Saints 5 times in a row led to him breaking his tablet and screaming at his teammates.

Though later in his podcast, ‘Let’s Go’, Brady laughed it off, saying he was angry because he “forgot the password,” the QB addresses the fight that he set off with Marshon Lattimore that ended up getting Lattimore and Mike Evans ejected from the game. “I think there’s an importance where you can become too overly emotional, which I definitely think I was yesterday, and I’ve got to find a better place to be at, so I can be at a better place for my teammates,” Brady said.

But Brady’s justification wasn’t enough for the NFL community. And even NFL insiders started talking about what could be a very triggering reason for Brady’s Sunday night blowout: his wife, Gisele Bündchen.

The Tom Brady-Gisele Bündchen Saga unfolds yet again

The Bündchen-Brady relationship has constantly been the talk of the town. The dispute started in March when Brady decided to come back to the NFL within weeks of announcing his retirement. And reports suggest that Bündchen isn’t happy about it. In fact, she even skipped the Bucs’ season opener, resorting to showing her support via a tweet

Brady is definitely aware of Bündchen’s woes and has been for a very long time. In 2018, he admitted that Bündchen “wasn’t satisfied” with their marriage, adding, “She felt like I would play football all season and she would take care of the house… And she’s sitting there going, ‘Well when are you going to do things for the house? When are you going to take the kids to school and do that?”
