The drama involving Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers has no end in sight. With the Packers’ star QB first missing the side’s OTAs and then Day 1 of mandatory minicamp, a lot of twists and turns are sure to follow.
But one thing that Aaron Rodgers can be sure of is having the backing of wide receiver Davante Adams. Roped in as a second-round pick back in 2014, Adams has grown strength to strength with Rodgers in the pocket.

The wide receiver even had his most successful campaign last season being named to the NFL’s All-Pro team alongside Rodgers. The two have linked up numerous times over the past couple of seasons to bail the Packers out of trouble.
But now even with trouble in paradise, Adams has ensured that he will always back his QB1.
Davante Adams still rooting for Aaron Rodgers
Despite the ongoing feud between Rodgers and the Packers front office, speaking to NFL reporter Rob Demovsky Adams made it clear who he’s backing.
“I’ve got his back through everything so he knows that. At the end of the day, if there’s ever a wonder if he’s lost a teammate or something because of all that’s come out, he knows where I stand,” Adams said. “I’ll stand on the f*****g mountain and scream on the mountaintop that I’ve got his back.”

Davante Adams has perhaps been the most vocal supporter of Rodgers through the whole saga. The wide receiver earlier went as far as to say that his future with the franchise could potentially be affected if Aaron Rodgers is ultimately traded.
“I think that any GM, any president, any owner, they should want the type of guys that are backing their players, especially a player like that,” Adams said. “That’s just a good trait to have. It’s not like I’m saying, ‘Forget the front office,’ like I don’t respect what they have going on.”

The Packers will have to move fast. If they don’t sort things out soon, the situation might go beyond the line of repair. And if that indeed happens, they might soon have to contend with their star wide receiver wanting out as well.
