These have been key in cementing his place in the history books as one of the greatest players, if not the greatest, ever to take on the 100 yards. However, as he enters this new chapter in his life, Brady’s focus is shifting from his own accomplishments to those of his children.

Brady has been all over the headlines with his startling decision to call it a day for his football career. The legendary QB felt that it was finally time for him to hang up his cleats and focus on family. Of course, the past year has been difficult for Brady and his personal life, especially owing to his divorce last year.

Tom Brady wants to devote time to his children

Brady’s largely publicised divorce last year may have been a major driving force in his decision to retire. The QB certainly has devoted a lot more time to tend to his family and his children. In fact, Brady has been very vocal about his desire to spend more time with his children. At his Autograph “unofficial retirement” party last night in Tampa, he revealed his desire to enjoy and take part in his children’s lives.

As Brady was asked about what’s next for him, in his session with the media, he was not shy to hide the truth. “There is nothing I love more than football, but I have young children, and they watched enough of their dad’s games and it’s time for me to watch their games.”

Brady has long been seeking to be more involved in the lives of his children, and his retirement will finally allow him to play a greater role in their childhood.

Tom Brady has shared a wonderful history with his children. His three children, John, Benjamin and Vivian have played a central role in the QB’s life. Brady shares custody for Benjamin and Vivian with his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen. Gisele and Brady had a much publicised divorce following Brady’s decision to return to the NFL for another season last year.

Tom Brady’s retirement marks the end of an era in football, but it also marks the beginning of a new chapter in his life. By dedicating himself to his children, he is showing the world that there are more important things in life than just football. Whether or not Brady will continue to be involved in football in some capacity remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: his focus has shifted, and he is now putting his family first.
