The new season of the NFL is fast approaching. And a new season means the opportunity to see new draftee talents take on the field in the most competitive league of football. Just like any other year, this year’s NFL draft has seen teams pick up exceptionally talented football players to become the players of the future. And the NFL world will be waiting eagerly to see what these rookies have to offer in their debut season in the NFL.

And out of all the draftees of this year, 45 draft picks across all rounds were invited for the 2023 NFL Rookie Premiere, a place of networking with brands and sponsors for the most marketable draftees of 2023. While the rookies were busy with the Premiere held from May 18-21, the NFL world got to see legends like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Aaron Rodgers amongst others join hands in a very heartwarming special project. A project that these rookies will carry forward forever in their own NFL journey.

NFL legends share words of wisdom with rookies at the Premiere

The Rookie Premiere is a place where the invited draftees have a chance to learn the business aspect of football while networking with sponsors and corporate brands. This year’s Premiere saw the like of Bryce Young, Will Levis, and Anthony Richardson amongst others be a part of the event. But these players were in for a big surprise, as their idols and legends of the league came together to share words of wisdom with these rookies before the start of their NFL journey.

In a video shared by online sports retailer Fanatics on Thursday, we see these rookies hearing personalized messages from legends who they idolize and are fans of. Furthermore, Tom Brady had personalized messages for Anthony Richardson and second-round draft pick Will Levis. In his message to Levis, Tom Brady resonated with the rookie QB, stating, “Waiting around on draft day, it sucks. I know that feeling. It’s not easy. But I promise you one thing. It’s gonna make everything that happens from this point on that much sweeter.” Not only this, but these rookies were in for another surprise when they all received signed jerseys from their respective idols. We even caught a glimpse of Aaron Rodgers, who asked Packers QB draftee Sean Clifford, “How’s my locker room, by the way.” Peyton Manning also shared some motivation, stating “I’d just encourage you to keep working hard. Be the best QB and teammate.”

Prior to this motivational Rookie Premiere video, Tom Brady met up with the top prospect QBs to talk and share his own personal experience with them.

Brady’s meetup with the QBs of the future 

On the first day of the 2023 Rookie Premiere, Tom Brady met up with draftee QBs Will Levis, Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, and Anthony Richardson at the home of Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin. During the meet, Brady shared his own experience and journey in the NFL with these rookies, in a bid to encourage them to keep on working hard to perform at the top of their game in their careers. Even rap icon Travis Scott made an appearance, and talked about his own story of success in the music industry.
