On a recent episode of Speak For Yourself, hosts Emmanuel Acho, Marcellus Wiley, and LaVar Arrington talked about the quarterback situation in New England. When asked for his opinion on the Cam Newton – Jarrett Stidham – Brian Hoyer QB battle, here’s what Wiley replied.

Newton has been dealing with foot and shoulder injuries since 2019. He did not feature much in his final year with the Panthers. The 2015 NFL MVP winner seems hell-bent on silencing his doubters this season. If he manages to avoid injury, Cam could definitely be the ‘comeback’ star of 2020.
