Gisele Bündchen sat down for an emotional interview five months after her much publicized divorce. She laid bare all the pain she went through during that time and exactly how she felt.
“It’s like a death and a rebirth,” Bündchen told Vanity Fair in the interview.
She mourned the death of her dream and revealed that it is difficult because she imagined her life a certain way and did everything she could for that.
“It’s tough because you imagine your life was going to be a certain way, and you did everything you could, you know?” the supermodel added.
Transitioning away from Tom Brady was certainly a challenging experience for her. Since parting ways with the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB, there has been much conjecture surrounding her romantic life. Recently, she went on vacation with her Jiu-Jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, causing the speculation about a potential relationship to heat up. However, in a recent interview, she clarified that the reason she was with him was that she trains while traveling. So it seems that there is nothing romantic brewing between them after all.
Rumors even said that she is dating Brady’s billionaire friend Jeffery Soffer. But later reports confirmed that he is already engaged. Moving on is a painful process and Bündchen is still going through it. Brady too has his way of trying to move on.
Divorced and retired life for Tom Brady
Shortly after his divorce, Tom Brady declared his retirement from the NFL. Although he had made a similar announcement the year prior and reversed his decision, it seems that this time it is a permanent departure from the league.

Brady has found a way to fill up his time. He is spending it as much as he can with his kids. The seven-time Super Bowl champion took the trio to a vacation in the snow where his boys enjoyed sledding down a snowy slope. His daughter Vivian showed off her knowledge of science with her experiment with water and cold weather. All of that may have been enough to put all the thoughts about the divorce to the back of his mind.
He has a post-retirement deal with Fox Sports to turn into a broadcaster. But he has deferred the 10-year deal worth $375 million to the next year for family time.
