Russell Wilson may not have had the best debut season with the Broncos but that is not going to stop the QB from dreaming big. After ending the season with a poor record, there’s no doubt the team has its work cut out. The Denver Broncos were aiming for ammunition to take their division and find leverage against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. But things do not always go as planned.
Although Russell Wilson’s grand entrance into the squad turned out to be a bust, he’s in it for the long haul. But, if the QB can be described in one word, it would be optimistic. And that is exactly what was reflected in his words after the Broncos took on the Chargers.

The Broncos ushered in a positive end to a predominantly painful season with a 31-28 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. While it can be argued that the Chargers were resting most of their starters, in the case of the victory-deprived Denver squad, a win is a win. The quarterback had words of hope and optimism despite the rocky start to his tenure with the team. While speaking about the lack of success this season he said, “It tests your faith, it builds perseverance and we’ve definitely gone through some tests, we’ve gone through some trials, it’s been a hard season, it’s been good too, and we’re always going to find the good and I think the best thing we can do is continue to believe in one another.” Taking a look at their record this season, the Broncos have indeed had a fair share of trials.

The QB also made some proclamations that the Broncos Nation will definitely hold him accountable in the future. He added, “We’re gonna turn this thing around and we’re going to do it with great diligence, work ethic, great togetherness, and belief. And that’s why we’re going to get it down and it’s gonna be an amazing story when we do.” While Wilson strings together words that spark hope, the journey ahead will not be easy.

Bro actually looked good and it’s worth questioning, was Nathanial Hackett that bad of a head coach?
