“There’s not a lot of words I can use to describe it, how awesome this place is,” said Allen in an interview on Wednesday. He also said that it’s a truly special place and that there is no place like Buffalo.
On Sunday Allen might not have seemed like he had stuff going on in his head as his performance made it seem like all was well and merry in his life, little did anyone know he played against the Seattle Seahawks with a heavy heart still trying to cope with losing his grandmother a night before. McDermott, the head coach of the Buffalo Bills, asked him not to appear on the field if he did not want to play the match and needed time to mourn the loss he had just endured.
Since Monday, the Oishei Children’s Hospital has raised a sum of approximately $300,000 via donations made by the Buffalo fans. This gesture made by the fans overwhelmed Allen to promise to stick with the Bills till the very end of the road.
The head coach of the Buffalo Bills, McDermott, will feel elated to hear this news as he would definitely not want to let go of his quarterback, at least not as long as he is the coach for Buffalos and especially not after witnessing his performance throughout the year 2020.
The Buffalo Bills buried the Seattle Seahawks in the ground, winning with a score of 44-34. Josh Allen did not just play the game, but he won the AFC’s Offensive Player of the week award with 415 passing yards. The fans to show their love and support made a generous donation to the Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo in his late grandmother’s honor.
He even shed some light on his upbringing and relating it to Allen’s talking about the hard work, core values, and a few other things.
