On Monday, the Warriors sealed a thumping 132-95 win against the Spurs in the vicinity of a Niners squad. Along with the quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, his teammates George Kittle, Kyle Juszczyk, and Christian McCaffrey were also present for the evening’s game.
Garoppolo tuned out to be the center of attraction when a group of Warriors cheerleaders mobbed the passer. They specifically approached him, giving handshakes with a casual ‘Hello’.
What’s more surprising was that they disregarded his other teammates. They acted as if Garoppolo was the only celebrity present on the courtside. It took no time for this snippet to go viral.
In fact, it reached the right eyes with Niners head coach Kyle Shanahan reacting to this situation. While speaking on KNBR this week, Shanahan looked least surprised and mentioned that he had witnessed similar incidents happening with Garoppolo in the past. “It’s a normal thing. I’ve been at fundraisers with him, and it’s a tough life he’s got to live,” Shanahan said with a laugh.

“I’ve seen it before though so it doesn’t surprise me,” he added. Being photogenic gives him an additional advantage to attract a wide range of female fan followers. Something was evident on Monday when the cheerleaders specially greeted him. Just like his popularity in the Bay area, Garoppolo’s fortune shined this season.
When Kyle Shanahan called Jimmy Garoppolo one of the better throwers on this planet
Jimmy Garoppolo was trade bait this offseason. After he recovered from his injuries, the veteran quarterback was supposed to find a new landing spot, but as the franchise couldn’t find one such spot, he was placed as a backup option for Trey Lance.

“I think Jimmy’s one of the better throwers on this planet, so that’s been one of his number one attributes. I thought Jimmy had his best year last year.” Shanahan said in one of the interviews. Out of the eight games he played this season, Garoppolo registered 1,931 yards and 11 touchdown passes against four interceptions. It will be interesting to see if he could lead the team toward a Super Bowl.
