Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills appeared in this week’s episode of Kyle Brandt’s Basement. After Kansas City won Super Bowl LVII, host Brandt inquired about the Patrick Mahomes mania. Allen primarily felicitated the Chiefs’ performance in such a high-magnitude game.

Josh Allen kept his perspective on Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ SB sweep. The Bills QB1 mentioned, “You look at him statistically and what he’s been able to do in his first four, five, six years in this league. You know, it’s kind of unmatched by anybody. They’re the mantra of what you want to be and how you need to do it. Because again, they’re just constantly in the AFC Championship Game; he’s been in three Super Bowls now. Gotta find ways, it’s a copycat league. You gotta find ways to be like them.”

The Bills-Chiefs rivalry has transitioned into a classic since the Gunslinger and JA17 took over. When the new-generation quarterbacks faced off against each other, they put on a show. But the Chiefs have knocked off the Bisons in a couple of postseasons.

Update on the Bills QB1’s throwing elbow injury

However, Allen’s injury has received a positive update ahead of the 2023 season, as it would not necessitate surgery on his injured elbow.

As per NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, sources stated the doctors are optimistic that the General will benefit from his rest. He is recovering well from the partially torn UCL along with associated tendon and muscular pain. They expect the quarterback to be fit and active for the 2023 season.
