Before dating his now wife, Gisele Bündchen, he dated the Blue Bloods actress Bridget Moynahan. The couple was together for two years before calling it quits in 2006. Brady had moved on to date the supermodel. But things went foggy when the couple got to know that Tom Brady’s ex-girlfriend was pregnant with his child.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen faced a difficult time

Within a matter of a couple of weeks, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen learned about the pregnancy of Bridget Moynahan. As they were not prepared for such news, it came as a shock to them. Bündchen has been open about her experience of finding out about the former couple’s child within the first few months of the romance with the NFL star.

“Two months into our relationship, Tom told me that his ex-girlfriend was pregnant. The very next day, the news was everywhere, and I felt my world had been turned upside down,” she wrote in her 2018 memoir, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life. Although it was not an easy time for Brady and Bündchen, they managed to move past it. Through this experience, Tom Brady could know a lot about her future wife, and so did Gisele Bündchen.

In an interview, Brady said, “It was hard for my wife and for my son’s mom because she didn’t envision that either.” This news did not create friction in their relationship. The couple gave birth to their son and daughter, while also wholeheartedly taking care of Brady’s oldest son.
