EVP Stephen Jones opened up on what transpired and why they could not trade up.

Despite various teams making some trade-ups, the Blue Star missed out on the activities this year. It may look like Jerry Jones, and the franchise front has a lot of faith in the existing team. But Stephen Jones pointed out that they were searching for not one but more WRs.

As per Clarence Hill Jr, Stephen Jones mentioned, “You’re never there until you’re there. It was an intense day and really felt like we had some things that might workout but unfortunately they didn’t and on several fronts and we just weren’t able to get it done.”

The Blue Star front Office reportedly made some background activity. They were in talks with the Houston Texans regarding WR Brandin Cooks. EVP Jones acknowledged that the front was on the verge of making a move for the wideout.

Jerry Jones may not face a fine for his Halloween costume

The Halloween fever struck Jerry Jones pretty solid. The Cowboys owner dressed up as a blind referee, a classic mockery of the NFL’s recent controversies over poor officiating. While many would see it as a regular dress-up for the festivities, the league is not tolerant of such things. There were intense speculations that Kingpin Jones would face a fine for his actions. But that may not be the case.

As per Dailymail.com, an NFL spokesperson said that Jerry Jones will not face the fine for his Halloween dress-up. It is rather interesting to see, as the league is quite strict over such situations. However, it is yet to see if any other developments over the situation happen.
