The future Hall of Fame quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, has become the talk of the town during this NFL offseason. After a long 18 years with Green Bay Packers and 40 days of negotiation, he has been traded to the New York Jets. Since then, ?everything has changed? for Rodgers. Recently, he was seen during the recent New York Knicks playoff game against Miami Heat. It seems that he is finally enjoying his time in the new city.
The 39-year-old started his career in 2005 with the Green Bay Packers. This is the first time he will play for the other team, the Jets, after being selected in the first round (pick no 13). Recently, Rodgers gave a surprise appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’, and told about all his topsy-turvy as well as the honeymoon phase, after being separated from the Packers.

When asked about his feelings after joining the Jets, Rodgers replied, ?I?m just pinching myself a lot of days. I can?t believe it?s real sometimes. It?s been a dream for sure.? Rodgers also excitedly explained his first week in New York, ?Allen, Breece, and I went over and did a little shopping beforehand and saw a bunch of people out.? He continued, ?It was a rainy day. People were excited. They wouldn?t let me pay for my pizza.? A-Rod also elucidated the love he got from the people and Jets during his initial days in New York.
Rodgers further shouted out some of his Jets teammates? names, including Allen Lazard, Breece Hall, Mecole Hardman, and C. J. Uzomah. He showed his joy by referring to them as close friends and stating that the entire team and the people of New York are overjoyed to welcome him. He also recalled Packers and stated that those 18 years had been wonderful for him.
Rodgers has become everyone?s favorite, including the Jets? GM, Joe Douglas.
Rodgers is a historic trade for Douglas
It is ?a historic trade for this franchise,? Douglas said earlier about Rodgers? trade. He also mentioned that he and his entire team are grateful to have someone with his talent and integrity. He admitted it took a long time and a lot of conversation with the Packers? general manager, Brian Gutekunst, over Rodgers? trade. However, all went smoothly, and the Jets were able to pick the QB.

The Jets owe him a fully guaranteed $59.5 million amount in 2023 and $1.2 million as a signing bonus. The four-time NFL MVP called that day surreal when he was introduced in the team?s auditorium. From that day until the present, he is feeling blessed to be a part of the Jets.
