The Denver Broncos currently have two quarterbacks vying for the starting job in 2021. But that competition would cease to exist if the franchise manages to pull off a sensational move for Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers.
The Broncos have been linked with a move for Rodgers through the course of the offseason. Ever since news of the quarterback wanting out of Green Bay emerged, multiple sides have dabbled with the idea of making a move for Aaron Rodgers.
But so far, no concrete trade deal has been put in place. Not even by the Denver Broncos. But their star linebacker Von Miller believes that the franchise’s front office is more than competent in pulling off the move.

“First and foremost, I’m comfortable with Drew (Lock). I’m comfortable with Teddy (Bridgewater). G.P. (General Manager George Paton) and (president of football operations) John Elway,” said Von Miller.
“If Aaron Rodgers is indeed on the market, then Miller believes Paton and Elway are the men for the job. “If A-Rod is out there for us to get him, those are the two guys to have on the job.”
Speaking of Elway’s past recruits, Von Miller said speaking from past experience that the front office can get a deal done.
“John Elway, he’s done a great job of working with the big-time guys before. Peyton (Manning) and DeMarcus (Ware), all these other guys. So if there’s a guy to be had, G.P. and John Elway are the two to put on it, if it can be done,” he said.
Miller though reiterated that if a deal doesn’t go through for Aaron Rodgers, even then the Broncos are in safe hands.

“If it can’t, I’m comfortable with Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater. They’ve impressed the hell out of me and impressed the hell out of everybody during OTAs.”
The Broncos’ last Super Bowl came back in 2015. And back then they had Peyton Manning at the helm. A veteran who the franchise believed had at least one more Super Bowl left in him. And Manning delivered.
