On Monday Night Football, the sporting world saw one of the most heart-breaking incidents, as the Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac injury after a collision with the Bengals‘ wide receiver Tee Higgins. After that incident, many fans and sporting personalities sent their prayers for the 24-year-old safety. On the other hand, former NFL linebacker turned analyst Bart Scott recently talked about Hamlin’s injury, as he seemingly blamed Higgins for the incident.
On ESPN, Bart Scott blamed #Bengals WR Tee Higgins for the incident with Damar Hamlin.
That is totally ridiculous, what happened was a freak accident.pic.twitter.com/5Sbh3GxslC

Notably, this was another controversial take on the incident after infamous sports analyst, Skip Bayless, expressed his views in a controversial tweet. Many fans, current players, and former players lashed out at Bayless, which forced him to post an apology tweet. Now, Scott’s latest take on the injury certainly angered a lot of Bengals fans.
Bengals fans lashed out at Bart Scott for blaming Tee Higgins
During a recent episode of ESPN’s First Take, Scott said, “I am not trying to put blame on Tee Higgins but that’s something they tried to take out… Right before the tackle, (Higgins) lowers his helmet and he kinda throws his body into (Hamlin’s) chest… He’s standing up because he’s thinking he’s gotta chase Tee Higgins at an angle to make a tackle, so he didn’t expect Tee Higgins to launch his body back into him. It’s one of those things you see as a linebacker.“
After this controversial take, many Bengals fans blasted the former NFL player. One Bengals fan compared him with Skip Bayless and wrote.
Bart Scott is Skip Bayless x 10. This guy is desperate for attention. I stopped watching that show months ago, and won't watch it again until he's gone.

Another Bengals fan remembered his controversial take on Joe Burrow last season, as felt disgusted by Scott’s words on Higgins.
Between asking the Ravens to put a bounty on Joe Burrow last season to blaming Tee Higgins for the injury last night, I could not be more disgusted by the vile and hateful words used by Bart Scott.
It's shameful that @espn gives him a platform for his violent language.

One more user took a dig at both Scott and Bayless for their views on the incident.
Bart Scott and Skip Bayless both showed their true colors over the last 18 hours. Neither should have a job in television

One Bengals fan wants ESPN to fire Scott for his comments.
Scott was garbage as a player and then as a broadcaster when he suggested the ravens should be head hunting burrow after last years game and now garbage as a human for suggesting that tee Huggins is somehow at fault for what happened. ESPN, do the right thing and fire him.

On the other hand, one fan thinks that Scott has some kind of vendetta against Bengals players.
Bart Scott is on ESPN actually blaming Tee Higgins for "lowering his helmet" into the player. Which did not happen.
Dude has a weird vendetta against the Bengals but this is taking it too far.

One more user felt disgusted by Scott’s take.
I just saw the clip.
This is disgusting of @BartScott57 to try to pin what happened on a routine play on Tee Higgins.
Tee has been through so much this season already and I’m certain he’s shaken by what happened last night.
To say this on national TV about him is disgusting. https://t.co/2AuNHuAt1c

Earlier, Skip Bayless also posted something controversial, and he received plenty of backlash. In the recent episode of ‘The Undisputed’, tensions were certainly high between NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe and Bayless. Despite the controversies, Bayless made it clear that he won’t delete his previous tweet.
