The Denver Broncos took another hit, losing to the Los Angeles Chargers 19-16. The Broncos seem to be racking up losses because of their inability to produce a decent offensive strategy. Some fans observed offensive players speaking and aggressively gesturing on the sidelines, presumably regarding Wilson’s play. The conversation could’ve been about a dozen other things. But, it looked like the players were expressing their frustration about something game-related.
Russell Wilson’s Woes
Russell Wilson is familiar with dysfunctional relations within the team. From his years with the Seahawks, the quarterback has spoken about his fraying dynamics with his former team. Wilson’s shift to the Broncos should have been the fresh start he needed. His rather expensive contract is enough proof.
Yet, Wilson finds himself on thin ice yet again. The Broncos’ underwhelming performance this year is a big red flag. Wilson on the other hand seemed to be performing like a shell of his former self. Entering his first season with the Broncos, head coach Nathaniel Hackett looks like he’s in over his head.

Can the Broncos bounce back?
The Broncos seem to have a solid defense, having allowed their opponent 20 points in every game. Now all fingers seem to be pointing at the quarterback and the team’s offensive strategy. Wilson insists that there is no division in the locker room. Apart from being in the limelight for his posts on social media, Russell has garnered some criticism from former teammates as well.

Hackett believes that the team needs to be at a higher level. This season, there is no visible proof of anything extraordinary from the Broncos, save for their quarterback’s hefty contract.
