“This is about one game,” the analyst, Clark, began by suggesting a possible path for the Jets. “This is about finding a way to go up 1-0 in the AFC East, which is going to be incredibly tough.” Due to the high anticipation, but not against the Bills, the upcoming showdown in Dallas.

Clark expressed that when the Jets head to Dallas next week, it’d be a welcomed advantage to be on the winning side today. Jets need to ensure Aaron Rodgers has ample protection “to be able to block number 11 (Micah Parsons),” in Dallas.

Despite having many good chances, Patrick Mahomes’ slipped-up against the Lions with 1 pointer in the final score. Therefore, Clark has a positive argument for Rodgers, saying, “We have to remember how Tom Brady started the season in Tampa. They weren’t great. They got stomped out by the Saints two times.” Hence, Jets needs to follow suit, fulfilling their potential. However, Stephen A. doesn’t appear to agree with Clark’s arguments.

The Pivot Podcast co-host feels the only person who links the Jets opener game to Aaron Rodgers’ legacy is Jihad Ward (linebacker for the New York Giants), “who apparently doesn’t know who Aaron Rodgers is, and Aaron Rodgers has to tell him who he really is.”
