After seeing Hyde at practice, McDermott said, “I know I said he wasn’t going to practice (Wednesday), he ended up doing a little bit of the jog-through sessions.” But then he mentioned they’ll limit the Safety on his Thursday session. “But he’ll be limited (Thursday),” he added.

So, for good reasons, Dermott doesn’t want to take any chances regarding the severity of his player’s injuries. Then through the team’s official X account, the Bills released their injury report. But despite the limitations and injury report, Hyde does not want to miss his team’s first game of the season. He believes that his condition is just a by-product of old age.
