The Bengals’ offense was clearly missing his absence, although won a nail-biting knock against the Steelers. The upcoming week when two contenders from the AFC North and South will lock horns, it would be a treat to watch, especially setting the stage for fans to relish last season’s playoff game between these two teams.
Back then, the Bengals slayed the Titans by a great margin. The loss might still sting for Ryan Tannehill and Co. as they will look to avenge the defeat.
During the Week 6 game against New Orleans, Chase incurred a hip injury. The management didn’t add him to the injured reserve as he would have missed at least four games, minimum.
But the LSU product looks perfectly normal and ready to play, according to the reports shared by Ian Rapoport. “He is improving. Per a recent doctor’s appointment, (Chase) is now off crutches and has a chance to practice this week and actually has a chance to play this week, finally, after missing about a month. There is some optimism about the status of Ja’Marr Chase.” The NFL insider said.
