Jacksonville Jaguars are off to the worst possible start one could imagine. They are winless in their first four matches in the NFL. Despite their shambolic on-field performance, they are not short of controversy off-field too. After Jaguars’ recent loss to the Bengals, a video went viral of their head coach Urban Meyer at a bar in Ohio with women in compromising positions.
This has led to further embarrassment to the club. Jaguars’ owner issued a statement following the clip’s leak and was upset with his coach.

Shad Khan: Meyer ‘must regain our trust and respect’
Coach Urban Meyer received a severe scolding from Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan on Tuesday following viral social media photos showing Meyer visiting a Columbus, Ohio, pub following the Jaguars’ defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals.
“I have addressed this matter with Urban,” Khan said in a statement. “Specifics of our conversation will be held in confidence. What I will say is his conduct last weekend was inexcusable. I appreciate Urban’s remorse, which I believe is sincere. Now, he must regain our trust and respect. That will require a personal commitment from Urban to everyone who supports, represents, or plays for our team. I am confident he will deliver.”

Jacksonville Jaguars coach Urban Meyer last night issued an apology to his team and to his family in a public press conference. Meyer described the incident, which seemed to take place at his Urban Chophouse in the Short North, as a “distraction.”
“I just apologized to the team and the staff for being a distraction. It’s stupid,” Meyer said. “I explained everything that happened and owned it. I should not have put that myself in that kind of position, I should have left.” When quipped if he apologized to his family, he said, “Of course I did. They were upset.”
