Patrick Mahomes just dropped a bomb on the sporting world with a video announcement. And it wasn’t just Patrick, but a multitude of sporting stars from various fields. And rightly, Patrick titled the tweet “greatest roster of all time” and had some of the biggest sporting names, like Steph Curry, Derek Jeter, and Rob Gronkowski, packed into sixty seconds of madness.
The Subway commercial intended to launch their new series of sandwiches threw the entire NFL world off, who thought that it was either a documentary or the superstars were probably going in as co-owners of a particular franchise. However, the franchise looks like a food-related one and not a sports-related partnership.
“Let me tell about the greatest roster ever assembled,” Derek Jeter starts the video off before the other superstars chimes in with their lines. “If I hadn’t seen it in person, I wouldn’t have believed it,” Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry said next. Fans responded to the star-studded lineup.

However, Patrick Mahomes’ loyal fanbase was not happy with the fake baiting and jokingly roasted the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.
Patrick Mahomes ought to be careful since the last multi-athlete brand partnership didn’t go down that well
The chances of something going wrong with Subway sandwiches are significantly low as compared to a cryptocurrency organization. Mahomes may be lucky, but Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady didn’t have Lady Luck on his side when he went in as the brand ambassador for Sam Bankman-Fried’s brainchild FTX.
The cryptocurrency exchange’s downfall has led to a fall in over $10 billion in asset values in the last few months. And the subsequent fraud charges even caused lawsuit problems for Brady and the rest involved. There was a common link, as Steph Curry and the GSW association were also associated with the FTX corruption scandal.

Brady’s and former wife Bündchen’s equity investments also took a significant hit after FTX’s FTT token controversy caused billionaire owner SBF’s dream to crash and burn.

Tom Brady’s former New England Patriots and Bucs teammate Rob Gronkowski are also part of the Subway deal. “Every kid I knew had an outlaw [sandwich] poster. I still got mine. Sometime you just want to eat your hero,” Gronk reminisced, while Mahomes went on about ‘The Monster (sandwich)’. “Skill, size, swagger,” the 2020 Super Bowl MVP said. The ad shoot roster also included Tony Romo and Charles Barkley.
