Cincinnati Bengals have stunned the league after downing the No. 1 seeded Tennessee Titans in the Divisional Round. Joe Burrow in his second year with the franchise has led the Bengals to its first AFC Championship Game since 1988. It is truly a wonderful achievement for the quarterback to lead a group of youngsters, which he believes is in no way an “underdog” team.
The Bengals offense is filled with some young and very skilled players like rookie receiver Ja’Marr Chase and second-year receiver Tee Higgins. However, the quarterback feels tired of discussing the underdog narrative of the team. Instead, he believes that the Bengals are very much a strong team that has the caliber equivalent to any Super Bowl-winning team.

The quarterback has made a point. And now that he has brought this new perspective into light, it all makes sense, judging by their performance throughout the 2021 season. The Bengals, during their 10 game winning season, include four wins from playoff teams like the Raiders, Chiefs, and twice against the Steelers.

They also came close to a win against the NFC No. 1 seeded Green Bay Packers but failed to outscore them in overtime. This implies that the Bengals have come a long way in their journey and are on their way towards greatness. The Bengals have now punched their ticket to the AFC Championship Game, and it is yet to be seen who they face next.
