Damar Hamlin posted a message on Instagram for the first time since the horrific incident on Monday. He thanked all the fans who have been constantly praying for his health.

“When you put real love out into the world it comes back to you 3x’s as much…. The love has been overwhelming, but I’m thankful for every single person that prayed for me and reached out,” he wrote along with photos in his number 3 Bills jersey.
He asked the fans to keep praying for him as he is on a long road to recovery.
“We brung the world back together behind this. If you know me you know this only gone make me stronger. On a long road keep praying for me! #3strong,” the young safety added.
Hamlin also added the message he got from the doctors after he asked them the result of the Bills game with the Cincinnati Bengals. And the fans are relieved to see Hamlin up and going strong.

Hamlin collapsed on the Paycor Stadium field in Cincinnati during the Bills-Bengals matchup in week 17. He suffered a cardiac arrest after a collision with the Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins. The medics shifted him to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He won the game of life there, as the doctors told him, even as the NFL canceled the game he was playing. And that’s all anyone wanted that day.
