NBA legend Charles Barkley often shared many stories during his interviews. He came out with another one, as he recalls a time when he gambled with the NFL star quarterback Josh Allen. Recently, Allen was a guest on the show ‘The Steam Room’ hosted by Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley.

In the show, Charles said“I told Ernie earlier last time I saw Josh he was cheap so when you were still on your rookie deal, I met your mom and dad in Lake Tahoe, and we were gambling a little bit.” Charles also asked Josh Allen if he still plays $25 a hand while playing Blackjack?

Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen said, “I’m still playing $25 a hand. Absolutely, I don’t know what it is about chuck, I know you like I won’t say what you were betting, but it was a little more than mine we know.” 

Allen was on a rookie contract back then, and he mentions he did not have a huge paycheck like Barkley. The Bills’ QB revealed he loves to play blackjack but hates it when he loses. Allen still plays $25 a hand because if he loses 300 bucks, he gets a pit in his stomach.

On the other hand, Chuck loves to gamble, and he recently stated that in an interview. While speaking with Graham Bensinger, Charles said“I’ve won a million dollars, probably four or five times in a single day. I’ve lost a lot more millions in a single day, I’ve lost a million dollars at least 10 to 15, somewhere in there. I probably only won a million five or six times.”

Charles has lost between $10 to $20 million in his whole gambling escapades. He says he does not remember the exact figures. He has been gambling since the 80s, and it is always hard to recall.

Josh Allen and Charles Barkley had a good time gambling at Lake Tahoe. Allen wished he could again get a chance to sit with chuck at the table and learn some gambling tricks from him. Well, it’s clear Allen has not made gambling his habit, and he likes to play safe with his money.

Buffalo Bills QB Allen Josh is all set for the upcoming NFL season. The Bills will be facing Indianapolis Colts in a preseason match on August 14, 2022.
