Brady and Bündchen did not hope for their investments in the cryptocurrency exchange token, FTX, to take a wild u-turn. The Sam Bankman-Fried-owned company filed for bankruptcy in November last year. The lawsuit also involved NBA legend Shaq, Owner of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, and comedian Larry David, among others. One particular plaintiff and Patriots fan, Michael Livieratos, put in $30,000, only because his favorite quarterback was the one advertising it.
