The Colin Kaepernick comeback frenzy seems to have no closure. The 2022 Draft is near to kickoff, but the former 49ers QB hasn’t been able to prove himself applicable for any NFL franchise. This saga began at the beginning of the summer and it seems like there’s no end to it. Even Stephen A. Smith is tired of hearing Kaepernick’s stance for an NFL return.

While Smith definitely recognized whatever Kaepernick has been through and accomplished, he has a problem with everything that transpired off from the court between 2016 and so now. The former 49ers quarterback reportedly voiced his desire to return to the league. He’s even open to taking on a backup role. The only problem persisting would be that he hasn’t played in the league for the last 5 years.
