Jerry Jones, the billionaire owner of the Dallas Cowboys, introspected his views about the replay system in a podcast before the TNF in NFL 2022-23.

Jerry Jones opens up about his voting process preference regarding replays

The discussion on the podcast varied in many topics. Jones talked about the resurgence of the NFC East. However, he talked about his personal decision regarding reviewing controversial calls. “And, so, I said I’m not voting for this anymore. This is not the way to do it. Then, I reversed ground on it…there is no mandated ‘don’t touch the quarterback,” Jones mentioned in the podcast.

There were speculations that the recent events also affected the outlook of the billionaire. Mishandling of Tua Tagovailoa’s concussion was very unsportsmanlike. Thereafter, the controversial penalty against two good defensive plays raised eyebrows in the NFL world.
