Julian Edelman may be off the game and living a quiet life. But the NFL will never neglect his time with the Patriots. The WR wreaked havoc alongside Tom Brady and cemented a legacy unlike any other. Edelman is well-known for his receiving abilities, but he also knew how to get his teammates going. Rob Gronkowski revealed how the WR tricked him into unleashing his full potential.

The NFL Films creates documentaries called A Football Life, focusing on a legendary player. Julian Edelman is the newest in route, and the ex-WR is teasing clips on Instagram. The recent videos show how he used to tell Rob Gronkowski about other teams calling him soft.
Rob Gronkowski mentioned, “Sometimes I know Jules is just saying [bleeped] to say [bleeped] you know, just to get you going… He thinks telling me that they think I’m soft like it kind of gets me going. But at the same time, I’m walking away. I’m like Jules, they didn’t [bleeped] say that buddy like, they know I’m not soft. But I’m like, but wait, did they say that to him? So that then it gets me going. So he’s trying to trick me. He’s playing mind games with me to get me going.”

Edelman also showcased his acting skills by mimicking Bill Belichick and recalling their first interaction. The former WR playfully made a tease for an NFL return as well.

Brandon Marshall may have learned his lesson on not putting up a bet against Julian Edelman. The former NFL athletes had a high-stakes wager over the Jets–Patriots Week 11 game during an episode of ‘Inside the NFL’. Marshall said If New York win, Edelman needs to get a Jets tattoo. If not, it would be the other way around.

The Patriots won the game with a 10-3 lead in Week 11. Marshall was also a man of his promise, and he got the Flying Elvis outlined in black on the sleeve of his right arm. Edelman also showed it off on his social media.
