Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers came very close to their playoff dreams this year. 4 points, to be exact. The Packers lost at home to Detroit on Sunday.

However, both teams ultimately fell short of their post-regular-season dreams. And now, Aaron has to make his plans for next year. Everybody wants to know.

The questions came in early at the post-game press conference. About his role next year and if he can see himself playing for any other team. And the reigning back-to-back league MVP gave some befitting reply to the reporters, putting the franchise above himself.

Aaron Rodgers wants the best for the Green Bay Packers. “Yeah, I’m not going to hold them hostage. I understand we’re still in January here and March is free-agency. Just need some time to get the emotion out of it. And figure out what’s the best. I think it’s gotta be mutual from both sides. Gotta see how I’m feeling first. It’s too soon for Rodgers to arrive at any decision at the moment and fans have to wait. “It’s too raw right now,” Aaron said.

A-Rod didn’t want to part with his shirt at the end of the game

Aaron Rodgers had an average night at Lambeau Field with 205 passing yards and a single touchdown. Moreover, his last throw of the season in an effort to take the lead ended up being a Kerby Joseph interception.

After the game when Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams asked for the Packers QB’s jersey, Aaron left a subtle message that can sway both ways.

Rodgers didn’t want to part with his shirt. To draw motivation for the next season or to save as a final Packers home game jersey memento, is up for debate. “I’m going to hold on to this one,” Aaron told a disappointed Jameson.
