After going undrafted, exiting the Eagles squad, and awaiting his turn while on the Commanders’ practice squad, Reaves made it to the team’s main roster this season. Amidst all of this, the 26-year-old lost his mother last year. Reaves has previously mentioned that she was his “biggest fan.” This is perhaps one of the reasons why his teammates were happier for his success than their own. Moments like these are special and an example of how the sport brings out emotion like no other.
