During an interview in January, reporters asked Zach Wilson for his opinion about a veteran being signed by the Jets during the offseason. Wilson did not seem too thrilled at the idea of a veteran replacing him on the field. He said, “I’m going to make that dude’s life hell in practice”. Wilson looked to fight for his spot in the team as a QB as he said that he will train harder to prove his worth to the coaches and to the team.

Now, with the possibility of Aaron Rodgers being traded to the Jets, it seems like the veteran QB might have his work cut out for himself there. While Wilson may put pressure on Aaron Rodgers for the starter spot at the Jets, the veteran QB might prove to be an excellent guide for the 23-year-old Wilson, who still remains the long-term QB hope for the Jets.
