Some may call it luck, but the ‘Grim Reaper’ revealed a prominent aspect that could soon keep him in the position of Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers.

This year, the Chiefs became a hot commodity with their blazing performance. Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and other roster members shone splendidly as they rallied past other franchises. They are now sharing the top spot with the Philadelphia Eagles. They would clash in Super Bowl LVII at Glendale, Arizona.

Patrick Mahomes arrived for the Super Bowl Opening Night at the Footprint Center in Phoenix. He revealed where he would prefer to keep his focus—where it belongs. He added how his Christian faith influenced everything he did and that God led him in the correct direction. Mahomes said via The Western Journal, “So it has a role in everything that I do, and obviously it will be on a huge stage at the Super Bowl that He’s given me and I want to make sure I’m glorifying Him while I do it.”

The Chiefs recently faced adversity when Patrick Mahomes suffered a high ankle knee sprain. But the quarterback played through the pain and clinched the divisional game to move further. Call it God’s plan, but he stood steadfast against a mega-rival, the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship game.
