Ciara Princess Wilson is hoping for a great year ahead of her. The pop icon will be welcoming 2023 with hosting Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve from Disneyland. The 37-year-old has already lined up a few ambitious goals in front of her as well. However, her bucket list for the next year makes no mention of the struggles of her husband and former Super Bowl champion, Russell Wilson.

The energetic pop singer is planning to level up this coming year. “Every year, the mission is to keep leveling up,” explained Ciara. “Thinking out loud about the things that I’m hoping for in the new year and things that I want to perfect is definitely continuing to work on balance.” Furthermore, she is expecting to be in charge this year, taking out time for her family and then also being able to satisfy her ambitions as a professional.

“I want to make sure that I feel that my life cup is full.” She added. “That’ll be my greatest focus. It’s just having balance for the human part of me in the midst of all the success and amazing things that I get to do.”

Ciara leaves out Russell Wilson from her list amidst a disaster season

The Denver Broncos went all in for the 34-year-old QB. After trading a plethora of picks, they even handed the nine-time Pro Bowler a $242 million contract extension. However, things have simply not gone according to plan. If anything, the team looks like a disaster right now. The quarterback has sharply fallen from his previous heights. This season, Wilson has recorded the largest decline (-20.5) in passer rating in the first season with a new team.

Following a 37-point loss to the Los Angeles Rams, the Broncos parted ways with HC Nathaniel Hackett as well. During the game, Wilson threw 3 interceptions and only 1 TD. The player expressed his disappointment over the events that proceeded to the game. “Just, I think, first of all, obviously, devastated about coach Hackett,” revealed Russ. “I wish I could’ve played better for him, too. I wish I could’ve played at the standard and level that I’ve always played at and know how to play at.”
