Former Raiders superstar Derek Carr made a lot of noise in the quarterback market before free agency. After talking to multiple teams, he eventually signed with New Orleans Saints. Notably, New Orleans pushed for a trade early in February; however, the Raiders did not allow it because Carr did not have a trade clause in his contract. Meanwhile, during the recent episode of the ‘Undisputed’ show, NFL Hall of Famer and 3x Super Bowl champion Shannon Sharpe made fun of Carr, using Baker Mayfield‘s reference.

Notably, Sharpe and his debate partner Skip Bayless often engage in heated arguments regarding various topics. But this time, they both agreed on one particular thing involving the Rams‘ QB Mayfield.

During the show, Bayless and Sharpe were discussing the Raiders, acquiring Jimmy Garoppolo from the 49ers after letting Carr go. Then, Bayless reminded Sharpe about Carr’s terrible performance against the Rams and Mayfield in the 2022 season. In that game, the Raiders lost to the Rams even after taking a sizable lead till the fourth quarter.

“By the way, spit up a big lead against Baker Mayfield too,” Bayless said to Sharpe. Then Sharpe hilariously agreed that he forgot about that and said, If you lose to Baker Mayfield, you got to go.

In the presser, he spilled some truth about accepting a trade while being with the Raiders. “I was very willing to accept a trade… But I was only able to talk to one team.
