Deion Sanders vowed to make changes before taking over the Colorado Buffaloes. However, when he reached the battle stations, he quickly found out that the situation was far worse than he had anticipated. Coach Prime had to make big adjustments to get the team back on the road again, and it caused a literal exodus in college football history.

The 2x Super Bowl champ was recently interviewed by Fox Sports’ lead college football analyst, Joel Klatt. After his now-viral speech, Sanders revealed all the behind-the-scenes occurrences that led 80% of the athletes to switch teams.

Klatt was interviewing Coach Prime in the same venue, where he delivered his first speech to the team players after becoming the new coach. They discussed why he chose Colorado and how he brought a whole new mindset to the game in just a couple of months. Despite appreciating the exponential growth of his team’s hard work, Sanders showed hesitancy about their initial performances and absurd traditions.

Coach Prime revealed that he met the players personally in their individual and positional rooms after delivering the speech. He further added that he was extremely shocked when he heard music playing in one of the said rooms. Therefore, he asked the individuals present why the commotions were being made.

Sanders was appalled upon hearing that the players often brought boomboxes to their positional meetings. After this revelation, he asked the students, “Have you lost your mind?” and added, “If you ever bring music into one of my meetings, I promise you, we will never see each other again in life.” It seems his discipline has assured the fans of Colorado of an improved season.

The CU fans are finally confident after year after year of mishaps

A sense of hope has finally ignited among the Buffs fans after Coach Prime’s arrival. The team hasn’t seen better days since their transfer from the Big-12 in 2010. They haven’t even been able to clinch a divisional victory for almost 7 years. Their recent and decent performance came in 2016, when they reached the championship finals, but still got defeated by the Washington Huskies.

The once-forgotten team now is a force to be reckoned with. Moreover, he has received an overwhelming amount of support from fans and even from the college administration. Even the ticket sales have seen a significant rise in the past few months. The Buffs have finally started to turn themselves around and have become a massively coveted football team in the college league.
