During the FS1’s Undisputed broadcast, Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe talked about the Bengals’ win over the Dolphins. They divert the situation over the head and neck injury of Tua Tagovailoa. The HOF TE questioned the Miami HC on if the QB was his son and whether he would permit him to play despite the brutal hit.
Shannon Sharpe mentioned, “I want to ask Mike McDaniel. If Tua was your son, and you saw what happened, and he told your dad, ‘it was my back’… Stephen Ross, If that was your son, would you have allowed him to go out there and play after you saw what happened on Sunday? Would you have allowed him to play on Thursday?”

Sharpe said they sometimes have to make it personal. When he visits the doctor, he encourages them to speak from a parental standpoint. The Ex-NFL TE would ask if they would reintroduce him into the Sunday game or permit him to play on Thursday. He doesn’t think they’d place it in this position.
Tua Tagovailoa suffered two blows in the back of his head in a week. The concussion protocols were under scrutiny when he came back to the huddles despite facing a brutal hit.

After the Thursday night tremble, they stretchered Tua Tagovailoa off the game and took the QB to a medical facility. He got discharged and jetted off to Miami with his teammates. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler tweeted that as per initial tests, Tagovailoa has no structural damage. But the MRI is still due.
