The Hall of Fame runner-back, O. J. Simpson, cannot put his past behind him. After his infamous trial in the 90s, the former Bills running back faced a lot of criticism from the public, even though the jury did not convict him for the murder of his ex-wife and Ronald Goldman. And after 26 years, one of the witnesses has come forward to disclose what advice he gave to the former number 32.
Brian ‘Kato’ Kaelin lived in Nicole B Simpson’s guest house and paid her $465 dollars per month as rent. He usually took care of Nicole and his children. In a recent interview, he recounted that he often picked up her children from school. Kato’s daughter also became Nicole’s children’s friends.

However, Kaelin also revealed that according to him, the NFL player employed somebody to do a background check on him since he was a man staying with OJ’s ex-wife and children. During the trial, this point was raised.
Kaelin testified that Simpson had told him it wasn’t right for him to stay under the same roof as Nicole, as the two were trying to reconcile and going on dates. Although Nicole and Juice were trying to work things out again, they got into verbal fights. Kaelin said that he had grown up in a certain way where “if my parents fought, they never did it without kissing each other at the end.”
He would advise the couple to not fight. “I would always say you guys shouldn’t fight.” Would the outcome have been different if O. J. Simpson and Nicole had taken Kato’s advice? We will never know.

The former RB was worried about an illicit affair between his ex-wife and their guest
In the interview, Kaelin answered that he never engaged in sexual activities with the former 49ers RB’s wife. He said that he was labeled as a babysitter and a pool boy.
During trials, he was asked why he did not move into Nicole Simpson’s condominium. Although Simpson did not blame him for having an affair with his late wife, he said, as per Kaelin, “He was saying it wasn’t right for you to be, a man-to-man thing, where you are going to be in the same house with his children and Nicole. They’re trying to work things out, so, I moved out.” When the prosecution asked what he understood by that, he said, “That it could possibly have been that he was thinking that I might be with Nicole.”
