The 2023 Draft is just five days away. But the New York Jets are still not close to a final conclusion when it comes to the trade of Green Bay Packers’ legendary QB Aaron Rodgers. After over a month-long negotiation between the two franchises to find a common ground to send Rodgers to New York, the NFL world is still waiting for the trade to be confirmed. The Jets have been using the offseason to build a team around the possible arrival of A-Rod. Earlier NFL Insider stated Friday to be the possible soft deadline for a decision to be finalized, because if it crosses the Friday night deadline, then the negotiations could continue until summer. And, there is one player who is looking forward to playing against the legendary QB.
Amidst the ongoing tussle for A-Rod, Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller opened up about his thoughts on the formidable team the Jets are shaping into.

Miller said, “Aaron Rodgers is joining the AFC East. Said he’s getting traded he hasn’t gotten traded yet. If he does get traded, the Jets, they are already a great team without Aaron Rodgers. And then you put Aaron Rodgers over there with Garrett Wilson, Sauce Gardner, Quinem Williams, the defence that they got. Oh man. They getting Breece Hall back too. This is not your typical Jets team. This is immediately one of the best teams in the AFC, and it’d be exciting to see Aaron Rodgers join the AFC East. If it ever happens.

With the onset of the new season in the league, the Jets will look forward to moving on from their slump in 2022. With both their 2022 draft picks proving their worth with their debut performance, the Jets will be looking to bounce back to make it to the playoff contention in 2023. Apart from this, they have also been busy acquiring new players for their roster in the offseason.
They have signed A-Rods teammate WR Allen Lazard from the Packers. They have also brought in Mecole Hardman from the Super Bowl-winning team, Kansas City Chiefs. The Jets are also preparing to welcome back rookie RB Breece Hall from his torn ACL injury.
The lineup for the Jets is great. With firepowers both in the offensive and defensive positions, the only question that remains is whether Rodgers will play in New York, or whether current QB Zach Wilson will get his chance to retain the QB1 spot in the roster.
